to staging. Given the history of this patch and comment
<URL:http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=3203#c7> "The
problem is: how do we test this with reasonable confidence if the regtests
can't be interested in spanbars?", no further version of this patch shall
be pushed while we are tentatively gearing up for creating the stable
branch.
