Well, there was no change in functionality but "just" a careful merge of
two different commits/issues. So since we already had a valid countdown
and nothing in functionality really changed (and the patch is not supposed
to change either behavior or internals of previously valid LilyPond
programs), I am pushing it. There is still some followup work to make
\displayLilyMusic aware of it as well as Documentation, and it is
conceivable that not every circumstance is fully covered, but I don't see
that the user interface will warrant changing and old code is not affected.
We also have had several people trying to "naively" write very much things
like this patch expects and then ask on the list why it did not work. So
it seems reasonable to add it now, even though it is unlikely that people
will give it much testing before 2.18 unless by accident.
