I'm somehow ambivalent.
I agreee with David explanations that it is expected behaviour now (from a
programmers view-point).
Though, from an user's view, I was surprised.
Perhaps it would be appropriate to add a remark about the brace-metrics and
the output to expect, to the description of
(define-markup-command (left-brace ...
in define-markup-commands.scm
