The original example no longer shows the problem, due to change in the
defaults.
The problem appears, as the tempo mark disappears, if we ad a line
\override Score.MetronomeMark #'non-break-align-symbols = #'()
The documentation would lead us to believe that, with this override, the
tempo mark appears over the bar-line.
