\textLengthOn and \markLengthOn (and \balloonLengthOn) are not identical.
\textLengthOn pushes any protruding notes horizontally, while \markLengthOn
climbs over them. So they are two slightly-different examples of how to
use the generic 'extra-spacing-width/height' which interested users can
find in 'property-init.ly'
