The patch conflicts with several patches I tried to commit right now. If I
do the conflict resolution, this means that the patch can't be reverted
cleanly afterwards any more.
That would bode badly for "git blame" on areas still requiring fixes, so I
am reverting (still possible cleanly) the part of the patch that is
automated:
