Tested on top of bb44469cee5d: working perfectly on Fedora 19 with both
devel guile 2.0.9 and guile 1.8.8 installed.
Your patch not only checks if guile is within 1.8.2 <= x < 2.0.0 but also
finds guile 1.8 when both guile 2.0 and guile 1.8 are installed (log
attached). No error to build, no error at execution.
