I would not want to mess with the parser _and_ the duration data type here:
that would affect pretty much _all_ current handling of durations: far too
big a can of worms just for placating the completion engravers.
If one wanted more automatisms, \scaleDurations/\tuplet would trigger some
events or have iterators change some context properties that the completion
engravers use for figuring out the "neutral" multiplication factor.
I don't think that the completion engravers warrant even this complexity.
It's possible that my scheme is to complex, and that we just need a
three-way switch, "smart", "long", "scaled". But since that is a subset of
my proposal, one can possibly emphasize the respective settings in the
documentation string.
