As I commented in 2673, there is a tiny description a few pages into Normal
repeats, just before
Selected Snippets:

I don't think there is much more to document, the patches just permit a DS
to be combined with an opening repeat barline, although an explanation of
the options would be good. I'll take a look, and also add a regtest or two
(unless Arnold picks this up quickly).
