Patch counted down - although I haven't seen any discussion, Mark as far as
I am concerned this has gone through the patch wringer so can be pushed,
but if you are still wanting more discussion (it seems quite fundamental to
me) can you set this back to patch-review and it'll bump it back on the
normal process one more time.
