I've tested this under Windows without any issues (or at least without any
difference in issues from Linux). The attached "font.scm" in comment #6 is
the correct one under review here.
This isn't a duplicate of that in comment #7 because that one only deals
with making text fonts easier to customize due to the large variety of text
styles. This patch only deals with the music and brace fonts, so they
should be able to be merged (if necessary) without too much difficulty, if
that's what you're wondering.
