I am not so sure about that. R1*3/2 _is_ scaled down to R1 without any
visual indication (when using r1*3/2 or c1*3/2 instead, there _is_ a
slanted 3 on top). Arguably LilyPond fails to represent the input and
warns about that.
That a faithful representation of the input would make little musical sense
is not really LilyPond's fault.
