All in all, I've run the tests three times now. All of them complained
about newly gained dead objects. That's disconcerting. Even if your tests
displayed _lost_ dead objects.
I'm going to work on the testing infrastructure for this stuff. I cannot
really vouch that the recently committed issue 4360 is unrelated to this
rather strong appearance of bad objects.
