As far as I can see from the second thread referenced, this 'new issue' has
also been fixed by Joe Neeman. At least, I can't reproduce it from Keith's
example on Windows.
I'm quite puzzled that the original report seriously suggests buying a $42
font only to test a bug which could likely be reproduced with any other
font.
