I can only think of one reason why one should encounter this problem: if
one calculates page-count through some Scheme procedure, which erroneously
gives a negative number. In that case it would help indeed if Lily
said: "Page-count must be a positive integer; disregarding the setting."
Or how did you come across this problem?
