The NR says
"The fret-diagram-verbose markup string is in the format of a Scheme list."
Thus the full possibilities of guile-syntax are possible.
For me the input-strings for \fret-diagram and \fret-diagram-terse are much
more confusing...
Nevertheless I do understand the list syntax is scaring for non-schemers
and/or LilyPond-starters.
It's not a convincing user-interface, imho. Though, I currently can't think
of a good way how to do it different.
