I can't really make up my mind about this. One thing is that really markup
functions should be placed on the same footing as music functions regarding the
argument list parsing but it's a whole lot of work.
Another problem is that I don't really know how this will interface with the
markup macro (which some people enjoy using). It's conceivable that as of
issue 4421, this will just fall into place "naturally" but I'm not all that
sure of it. Probably worth trying out.
