Still a problem with git from today. Here is a short snippet as a reference.

Damian leGassick reports a problem with -dbackend=eps where beams are cropped,
see
[http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/attachment/133016/0/space_prob.pdf](http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/attachment/133016/0/space_prob.pdf)

this behavior also occurs in many other situations with -dpreview, namely when
beams, slurs, phrasing slurs, dynamic spanners \(and maybe others, but not text
scripts\) extend above or below the "natural" vertical dimension of a
staffGroup \(which I assume is determined by the normal stem length\).

the problem exists only with \autoChange.

see the up-to-now discussion under
[http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/dbackend-eps-clips-lowest-beam-td133006.html](http://lilypond.1069038.n5.nabble.com/dbackend-eps-clips-lowest-beam-td133006.html)
where also a simple workaround is described.

note: this bug also impacts
[http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/notation/displaying-pitches#automatic-accidentals](http://lilypond.org/doc/v2.14/Documentation/notation/displaying-pitches#automatic-accidentals)
and newer versions where the code has been changed to avoid this problem.
