The information in tree.gittxt does not depend on the subdirectory it
is created in. After this change, a tree.gittxt should appear in the
test output for input/regression only.

The information in tree.gittxt does not depend on the subdirectory it
is created in. After this change, a tree.gittxt should appear in the
test output for input/regression only.
Also, tree.gittxt now includes the date and time it was generated.
