bug in 2.1.23

I'm posting this realizing I might not be giving enough information to go on (since I have to leave for a performance in a number of minutes) in case it might help.

I am using Pedro's Debian packages and I have just converted some Lilypond files from 2.1.14 to 2.1.23 and I get this error:
