I'm not sure what you mean.
I mean that there are no embedded fonts in the PDF, letters and symbols
are drawn as curves. Is it intentional, or a ghostscript limitation or a
bug?
Yes, that looks like a bug, the map file should be fixed. Best thing
to do would be to generate the lilypond.map using generate-map-file.py
from ec-fonts-mftraced, Han-Wen?
I think so as well.
