I don't see a clear definition of what constitutes an improvement of Lilypond or statement of purpose other than what I read in the introduction, I would feel better if the developers were working from
Then go feel better. Jan and I discuss this regularly, in email and phone calls that would even puzzle native Dutch speakers. We put things in writing when we feel strong enough to really commit to it. If we wouldn't we would be castigated for breaking with our own opinions by any random user reading the manual.
