Wow, here 'ulimit -n 512' is enough for make all.

There's a bug in texinfo 4.7 (and perhaps 4.8), wherein finished nodes didn't close files until the whole build was done. Since lilypond uses a lot of nodes, we used to run into this problem on OSX. I'm not certain if this bug is fixed in the version of texinfo that's in fink for 10.3.9.

I'm still not able to make web, so I'm not certain that changing ulimit -n actually did any good for me... but it eliminates one possible problem. :)
