The skyline could approximate the real outline with arbitrary
precision. What's the problem?
It's the opposite. A too-good approximation of the outline might be
too tight.
It should be easy to fatten an outline to get some extra padding. Making
outlines by hand will be error prone, and time consuming, as they have
to scale exactly with all the MF parameters.
