Hi,
I'm quite new to lilypond and it took me some hours to find out why
lyrics don't work as expected when using the template for ancient music
transcription (D.5.1).
Referring to some newsgroup posts (http://tinyurl.com/2z6jlr,
http://tinyurl.com/28yyhw), I propose to update this template to save
others from investing the same amount of time again.
1)
Take the "bassusLyrics" out from the StaffGroup.
2)
Insert this sequence in the layout section:
\context { \Lyrics \consists "Bar_engraver" }
\context { \StaffGroup \consists "Separating_line_group_engraver" }
\context { \Lyrics \override BarLine #'transparent = ##t }
