I've dumped in a first draft of Git on Windows. There's probably quite
a bit of overlap with other sections that will need sorting out.

file that we made for GDP.
OK. I still have it, but now I've had more experience with
git I can probably improve it.
BTW the rest of the CG stuff looks really helpful and promising!
I think the layout is fine.
