I have now also included the feature to not create the *-1.eps files if there
is only one system (and the .eps file would be identical to the -1.eps file)
and
the aux-files option is set to #f.

In the default case, there should be no difference to the current behavior,
though (or shall we adjust the default case to create those aux files only if
explicitly requested?)
