If you want to start working on stuff in Documentation/snippets/new/ then I suggest getting involved in the regtest-documenting stuff here: http://wiki.lilynet.net/index.php/Regtests in particular, add dot-count-override.ly See the CG Issues chapter for possibly accurate information about how to do this, although I would recommend looking at existing files in that dir as well.
