Greetings everybody, I'm not sure if you guys might find it interesting, but as I mentioned a year ago on -user, I've published an article (more of a pamphlet, really) about Free licenses and LilyPond, in a French magazine that's distributed in conservatories and music schools. In case you think it could qualify for our reviews page or whatever, here's a patch (I won't push it myself since that looks very much like self-advertising already :)
FWIW, here's the article in question: http://news.lilynet.net/Free-Music-Now Cheers, Valentin

I have translated it and posted it on LilyNet, with an original untranslated testimony by Francisco. I hope this qualifies as an "official" publication, since it has been widely distributed in French music schools. --- Documentation/web/introduction.itexi | 10 ++++++++++ 1 files changed, 10 insertions(+), 0 deletions(-) diff --git a/Documentation/web/introduction.itexi b/Documentation/web/introduction.itexi index 780d09a..75226eb 100644 --- a/Documentation/web/introduction.itexi +++ b/Documentation/web/introduction.itexi @@ -606,6 +606,16 @@ website, presents comments by two orchestra librarians who talk about using software to maintain their libraries. @item +June 2009 + +In an @uref{http://news.lilynet.net/Free-Music-Now, article} +published in the French @emph{National Conservatory Parent +Association}'s yearly magazine, French composer and LilyPond +contributor Valentin Villenave explains how Free licenses, and +specifically LilyPond-engraved scores, are instrumental in +making written music accessible to all. + +...@item February 2008 In @uref{http://www.musicbyandrew.ca/finale-lilypond-1.html, -- 1.7.3.1
