Wow, this one really went through the cracks!
- a normal makeinfo was fine, because the second @example ended
with an @end example.
- however, lily2html borked because the final @end example didn't
start at the beginning of a line -- it accidentally ended up
on a line looking something like this'@end example
I checked that it built with "make", because that catches
virtually all such errors. Honestly, I can't remember the last
time that something like this happened!

And so, knowledge increases! I was starting to wonder about mis-matched
tags, perhaps @node and @endnode but it was getting late, and when I
checked the online version and saw the same symptoms, humility seemed a
wiser course of action. I should have persisted; it would have been
cool to find the missing CR on my own. I'm running make doc && make
website on my way out the door to the office.
