He could tell us what it thinks it was, a few years ago.  I'm
willing to bet that there's at least one bug (like that shallow
clone thing) that would need fixing before it fully works.
Granted, the bugfix would almost certainly be less than 4 lines of
python code... but if I were working on this, I'd budget an hour
to do such a fix.
