In your commit you have

This doesn't work because 'Temporary polyphonic passages' is a
subsubsubheading
(git grep "Temporary polyphonic")
and you cannot @ref{} those (I think)
Hmm, so i'd have to ref "Single-staff polyphony" which is a @node?
