Yep. It is a known limitation that you have to be the user gub and
that the gub git repository must be the subdirectory gub in
~/gub/NewGub.
Ha, `known limitation'! Known to whom? A subdirectory called
`NewGub' was mentioned last in a thread 2½ years ago on
lilypond-devel, and it is completely undocumented otherwise.
You are one of the few privileged to reach a point to see that error :-)
