Hi
In lily/main.cc I read:
304/* Translators, please translate this string as
305 "Report bugs in English via %s",
306 or if there is a LilyPond users list or forum in your language
307 "Report bugs in English via %s or in YOUR_LANG via URI" */
308 printf ("%s", (_f ("You found a bug? Please read %s",
309 "http://lilypond.org/bug-reports.html"
310 ).c_str ()));
Two nitpicks:
1. I would rather use this link:
http://lilypond.org/bug-reports
so the browser will show the page in the language of the user, if
available.
2. Why suggesting a different translation? Perhaps because language
negotiation was not available when this string was added?
IMO it makes sense only if a translator wants to add a link to a
specific forum/mailing list in his language. Otherwise I would
translate it literally.
