Hi, Some time ago, I heard of a fantastic GSoC project aimed at enabling cross-staff spanners.

For the score I'm engraving, it would be tremendously helpful to get this working. I tried to compile the gsoc-2016-spanners branch from [2]https://github.com/starrynte/lilypond but it didn't do the trick. I know this will be unstable, but still, is there a patch somewhere that I could apply to use this feature nevertheless? Thank you very much!
