Maybe. But it was just an example.

In my view, if a person on this last has something interesting to say and
only 3 minutes to say it,
it should be our priority to take in their contribution vs quibbling over
the form they present their contribution in
(obviously within reason).

I guess my perspective is that if I am presented with a mutually
exclusive choice between:
 - get good input from a person
 - get input in a better form

I'll always favour the first one, because to me people and their ideas and
their hearts are a higher priority
than the form in which they present their ideas.
