Maybe, but I've been adding
#(ly:set-option 'warning-as-error #t)
to most of my new regression tests for a long time because it isn't the
default.

Judging from my branches, I started trying to make it the default a few
years ago (by setting it near -dcheck-internal-types in
make/lysdoc-targets.make), but I must have grown weary of sifting
through all the failures.
