Hi all,

As you may have noticed, I was quite inactive in the past months. Sorry
for that, I hope to have more time again during the rest of the summer.

On the other hand, development in general seems to be in one of its
slower phases: Even though 2.25.26 was released more than two months
ago, current master "only" has 44 commits since the tag. And 2.25.26
was already on the smaller side with 51 commits (in roughly one and a
half months). For comparison, the development releases before had
between 70 and 120 commits each.

I don't think that's necessarily a bad sign, but I also don't want to
let too much time pass between development releases. I did a test
release today (making sure everything is still working) and plan to
release 2.25.27 next weekend (July 19/20). If there's any reasons
against this, please let me know.

In the bigger picture, slowed down (feature) development could also
mean a good time for the next stable release. Maybe towards the end of
the year, what do you think?

Jonas
