Absolutely, 

IMO, it would be cool to push all custom xmlperformers + score-
xmlperformer to a single scheme/ly file and make translator_group
dynamically adapt to this file.  Then, one could do the same for
similarily defined formats in the future. Maybe this would be feasible?
