I've been trying to persuade some hairpins to sit above a stave rather than below it, and don't seem to be having any luck (I've tried over-riding the 'direction' property on Voice.Hairpin, which seems to be the only plausible thing I can find for the purpose). Any hints as to a) what I should do b) how I should have found this out greatly appreciated ...
