I think what you really want is encapsulated postscript. If you're using ly2dvi to make the postscript, then try this: instead of running ly2dvi, do lilypond foo.ly tex foo dvips -E foo or, like Rune suggested, try lilypond-book. > By the way, I've been using Finale for years, and already I prefer > lilypond!
