Hi Jan, this is explained in detail in the Tutorial. Look there.
Basically:
riff = { here go the notes }
guitarVoice = \notes { \riff \riff \riff }
Alternative: \repeat "unfold" 200 { here go the notes } within the voice.
If you have a one or two bar riff, \repeat "percent" 200 { here go the notes } is
even easier to read.
