Thanks for the suggestion.  The problem is that putting in
an invisible "bass" note messes up general spacing, ie. the
lyrics is pushed too far down.  Is not there a way to
manipulate the Glissando grob itself, to give it a different
starting point?  That would be clean and neat.  The docs
mentions span-points, but I could not find anything more
concrete...
