Why are rehearsal marks placed to the left of the clef symbol? I don't see this in other printed music or in Finale's output. Placing rehearsal marks to the right of the clef symbol would solve one of my problems and make it look like other printed music.

Maybe, this is a bug. I noticed in scm/define-grobs.scm that the property break-align-symbol of the RehearsalMark object is set to time-signature. However, the break-aligned-interface is not included among the interfaces of the object. I tried to add the interface and to set the property to different values, but didn't notice any difference. I'm not sure how these things are supposed to work but it should at least be a bug to set a property that's not included among the interfaces of the object (which also means that it's not included in the documentation).
