I just couldn't wait to see the new lyrics-alignment, so I've built a working 2.1.5 for Cygwin from the source package. It's not complete (doesn't contain documentation), so it should be used only by those who can't wait, too. You can install it adding the URL http://www.inf.bme.hu/~berti/lilypond in Cygwin setup mirror list.
