There is a plugin for OpenOffice called OOoLilypond which I used a couple of years ago. I can’t remember all the details of installation, etc, but essentially you create an ordinary OpenOffice Document, type in your text, and then switch over to the plugin and key in (or copy-and-paste) a fragment of lilypond code. It does a very nice job of mixing text and engraved music.
