"~/test.ly" does not look like a Windows file name, and that problem is
typical for Windows I think.  That's not perfect proof but it would be
my guess that something else may be involved here.

One thing to note is "-dSAFER" here: anything in the included file that,
say, tries opening an external file or do other non-safe things will
lead to an abort.
