I want to get the `beamed-stem-shorten' property, modify it, then set
it:
\override Beam #'beamed-stem-shorten =
#(map (lambda (x) (* 0.8 x))
(ly:grob-property 'Beam 'beamed-stem-shorten))
This doesn't work -- what's the right way to do it? I haven't found
an example within lilypond how to get a property from a specific grob.
