Try \remove-ing Staff_performer from the ChordNames context. There are two
ways. Either add:
\midi {
\context {
\ChordNames
\remove "Staff_performer"
}
...
or use
\new ChordNames \with { \remove "Staff_performer" }
instead of
\new ChordNames \with { midiInstrument = ##f}
