This example of using convert-ly should be the main example shown at several places in the manual and the more or less obscure examples that are shown today should be hidden very well if we keep them at all.

If that doesn't change the file, then your file is up to date. If it produces a
blank foo.ly.NEW file, then the file is up to date.
